Their first stop was the One World Observatory, a viewpoint from the 102nd floor of the One World Trade Center. Together with Governor Kathy Hochul, Mayor Bill de Blasio, his wife Chirlane McCray and their son Dante, they took the elevator to look out over the American city from almost 400 meters. It will be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first official outing since the birth of their daughter Lilibet in June.

The Global Citizen Live event is Saturday on the Great Lawn in Central Park. Attention is then drawn to poverty alleviation for 24 hours. Harry and Meghan will also have their say and want to raise the importance of making corona vaccines accessible worldwide. They are expected to ask the G7 and the European Union to immediately donate at least a billion corona vaccines to people who need the shot most.
