Harry and Meghan are paying back £ 2.4 million in tax money they used to renovate their home

Harry and Meghan moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor in late 2018. Immediately after the renovation, the British media criticized the hefty price tag attached to it. Now the couple is paying back the £ 2.4 million in tax money.

“The Duke of Sussex has contributed to the Sovereign Grant,” said a spokesperson for the couple. That Sovereign Grant is the pot of tax money that is used to finance the monarchy.
