He Kremlin today accused the vice president of USA, Kamala Harrisof “tactlessness” for calling the Russian president, Vladimir Putin“murderous dictator.”
“Apparently that lexicon is now part of the political culture of the American elite”he assured Dmitri Peskovpresidential spokesperson, to the Life portal.
Peskov, who believes that US officials suffer from a “lack of tact,” assured that Putin “never stooped to use insulting rhetoric against anyone.”
“Not even against the leaders of unfriendly countries,” he added.
Harris called Putin that way when criticizing her opponent in the presidential campaign, Donald Trumpfor sending a covid test to the Russian president for his personal use while the coronavirus devastated the world in 2020, as revealed in a book by the veteran journalist Bob Woodward.
Furthermore, in statements to the CBS channel, he also assured that he will not negotiate bilaterally with Russia for peace in Ukraine behind kyiv’s back.
The Russian Embassy in the US also condemned Harris’ statements, which would reflect Washington’s “inability” to deal Moscow a “strategic defeat.”
The current American president, Joe Bidenalso called Putin a “murderer,” to which the Russian president ironically responded by wishing him good health.
When referring to Harris, Putin recently highlighted her “expressive and contagious smile” and also joked that Moscow will support her presidential candidacy, as it did before with Biden, when all experts agree that the Kremlin wants Trump to win. EFE (I)
