Sébastien: I have a Pan America S, Special. Very nice, a good road. I had Harleys, a Street Glide in stage 3, after I went on Goldwing, after on GS 1200 and from there I ordered the Pan America to see what it is. She arrived and I am pleasantly surprised. I find the Harley universe which is a very nice universe, versatile motorcycles for some, good road for others which do not necessarily go into town, but good motorcycles in general. A lot of people will say that Harley did that, it’s a shame, I think it’s very good, they broaden their horizons a little bit, I think it’s a trail that is successful for a first generation, I think the 2nd generation will be even better, as the GS the first ones always have small flaws, on this one, the only thing that I could not say for me but people of small stature is that if they do not take not the option to lower it, it is too high for them (note: the adaptive ride height is an option on the semi-active suspensions standard on the Pan America Special). What I liked, the very torquey couple, agile the frame part I find it really very pleasant, the small downside is the chain kit but hey after that that’s also what makes the price of the bike, otherwise that sends on all gears, on the highway it’s very comfortable, cruise control, the touchscreen tablet in the middle it’s great on a trail it’s one of the first to have it, the GPS connected to the phone, the Apple CarPlay, you can have it all with the headphones’ Bluetooth, so it’s really great.
What are you doing with this Harley-Davidson Pan America S?
Sébastien: I use this bike every day, also to go to work for 5 kilometers. I had it on a Thursday, I on Friday I left for Spain I did 1300 kilometers in the weekend, highways, national, seaside, we can do everything, I use it for everything. Big walks, little walks, to take my son to school too, for everything. It’s really versatile. I added the smoke bubble, the shoe, the pot (note: Screaming Eagle titanium), the headlight grille, the radiator grille, and then that’s it, it’s already not bad. I put on the big complete hoof, I found it prettier.
