Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan stated that he was ready to reveal all evidence in court regarding his report against activists Haris Azhar | and KontraS Coordinator Fatia Maulidyanti.
This evidence, said Luhut, is to confirm that he does not have a mining business in Papua as alleged against him.
“So let it be proven in court, later if I am wrong, I will be punished, later if the person who reports it is wrong, he will be punished. We are the same in the eyes of the law,” said Luhut after being questioned at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (27/9).
Luhut again mentioned that freedom is not absolute and must be carried out responsibly. He added that everyone has human rights, including himself.
“So don’t just talk about human rights, there are human rights that are being talked about. So I also don’t want my children and grandchildren to feel that I am a parent, their grandfather is committing fraud in Papua which I have never done,” said Luhut.
Luhut reported Haris and Fatia on allegations of defamation, defamation, and spreading false news to the Jaya Metro Police.

As a reporter, Luhut was examined by investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (27/9). During the examination for approximately one hour, Luhut was asked for clarification on the report he made.
