Hari Murali Reveals Mammootty’s Incredible Acts of Modesty

Hari Murali talks about Mammootty’s modesty. Hari said that when Bhootham was being shot in a hospital in town, there was a child with a brain tumor and he saw Mammootty bearing the entire cost of the child’s treatment.

Similarly, Hari also shared the experience of coming to meet his crippled cousin Mammootty in the interview. Hari added that Mammooka always sees everyone on the set in the same frame of mind and expresses her anger and happiness equally to everyone. The actor was speaking in an interview given to Variety Media.

‘I have seen a side of Mammooka that no one has seen. In the town, ghost shooting takes place in a hospital. There was a child lying there with a brain tumor. There was no lift because the renovation was going on there. After going up six floors, I went and saw this boy. I have seen from there that Ikka has taken over the entire medical expenses of that child.

Similarly, one of my cousins has leg weakness and is in a wheelchair. Nothing can be done. When the shoot was going on at Jumbo Circus, I told Uncle George that I wanted to meet Ikka. Then he said, ‘Go and ask yourself, you are in a good mood now’. Mammooka told me that ‘no one will be allowed here’. But Uncle George was told to bring the boy inside after the shoot.

But sister had to go to the bathroom, so she went to the hotel. Ikka came out of the circus tent. Then he came straight to me and asked ‘Where is your sister? Didn’t you say you want to see me?’ Mammooka is such a humble person. It has influenced me a lot. An associate director there and a chap who comes to serve tea are seen in a mind.

If you want to be angry, you will be angry with the direction team and you will be angry with him. There is nothing hot about telling them. When we get angry, we say bad things to the children or to the director in the same way. If happiness comes, it will be shown to them and to us alike.
When we see an elephant, we feel a sense of fear and also a feeling of wonder, which is the feeling we always have after seeing Mammooka,’ says Hari Murali.
