Until the disturbances, an interesting fight ensued between the two ruffs who already met last year. In September, the two faced each other in Rotterdam, when Hari dominated the match, but got a kick in the head in the final phase and was knocked out.
In Hasselt, there was certainly no such scenario in the first round. The Pole had clearly learned from his earlier match against Hari and immediately went for it. The experienced Hari did not let himself be fooled and went through the first round with concentration. Both fighters exchanged blows and in the end the first round narrowly went to Hari.
Hari goes down
In the second round, the Amsterdammer got the upper hand and put a lot of pressure on the tall Pole. Yet it was Hari who went down first. Wrzosek hit Hari hard on the chin with his knee and Hari went to the ground. After eight seconds, Hari got up again, only to be rescued by the bell a moment later.
Just before the fight, riots had already broken out in the stands and after the second round, those riots continued. After about 20 minutes, the organization announced that the event would not be resumed for safety reasons.
