Hard Rock takes its mythical restaurant to the center of Madrid. A month after closing its mythical establishment in the Plaza de Colón, the company will open a new store at number 11 Preciados street. The company will take over from the historic Creaciones Vivar, one of the last remaining family businesses operating on this commercial street.
It’s about a place of 215 m2, spread over two floors, in the second most expensive shopping street in Spain, where the average income reaches 250 euros per square meter. According to industry sources, the chain’s plans for its new establishment are aimed at betting on a new store concept where to continue acquiring the firm’s famous t-shirts and sweatshirts, therefore focused more on the group’s merchandising, according to El Confidencial.
This change would explain the size of the premises, almost four times smaller than the one he occupied in Colón, close to 800 m2, where his commitment to restoration forced him to have a large premises.
This opening fits with Hard Rock’s plans for Madrid, which are added to the agreement it reached with ASG to open your first hotel in the capital, in the building in the background in the Ronda de Atocha, right in front of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
