Survive together or die alone – for captivating high tension in the gripping action thriller “Plane‘ worries once more Gerard Butler, who as a pilot has to fight for the lives of his passengers: During a heavy storm, lightning strikes pilot Brodie Torrance’s plane and all the instruments fail. After making an emergency landing on an island in the Philippines, he realizes that the daring landing was just the beginning. Dangerous rebels are taking its passengers hostage. Torrance’s only aid is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), a suspected murderer transported by the FBI. Torrance will need Gaspares’ help to rescue the passengers, and he will find that there is more to Gaspare than meets the eye.
“Plane”, which will be released in our cinemas in around four weeks, was directed by Jean-Francois Richet staged (“Public Enemy No. 1 – Murder Instinct”). He has occupied his film alongside Actionstar Gerard Butler (“Angel Has Fallen”) starring as pilot Brodie Torrance Mike Colter („Luke Cage“), Danielle Pineda (“Jurassic World 2 – Fallen Kingdom”), Paul Ben-Victor (“The Irishman”) and with the German actress Lilly Krug („Shattered“).
However, the film was not well received everywhere: Ironically, in the country where the film was shot, the Philippines, one feels disparaged: the country’s senators, above all Robin Padilla feel misrepresented. It’s not good for tourism when a Hollywood of this size shows the country in the wrong light. one would get the feeling that the country was infested with violence. He therefore called for the film to be banned in the Philippines.
