“Many Bulgarians abroad are not the most successful people, it is full of compatriots who are at the social bottom and it is not strange to vote for Eurosceptic parties,” Haralan Alexandrov said in the show “Offensive with Lubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS , social anthropologist.
He also stressed that the same people voted for Brexit.
“In this election, Slavi Trifonov joined people who do not know each other in principle. He himself is the only one who came to power,” he added.
Haralan Alexandrov hopes to form a government to see how the new parties can govern.
In the program, Ventsislav Velikov, deputy chairman of the Chicago polling station, said that 819 people passed through the polling station and 3,000 people voted in Illinois, as did Bulgarians from neighboring states.
He informed that between 100 and 150 thousand Bulgarians live in the Chicago area, and in these elections people have become more active.
Milena Vezenkova, a member of a London polling station, came in from London and said there were twice as many voters as in the previous election, given that there were fewer polling stations.
According to her, Bulgarians vote for change without knowing every component of a party’s program.
