“Häradsbygden chairman calls out Brynäs for premature introduction of Anders “Masken” Carlsson”

Brynäs should have waited to introduce Anders “Masken” Carlsson.

This is what Häradsbygden chairman Richard Brasar believes.

– I don’t really know how people thought there, to be honest, he says.

A month ago, Brynäs IF presented its new head coach Niklas Gällstedt, who will be assisted by club legends Ove Molin and Anders “Masken” Carlsson.

Then it was too fast, says Richard Brasar, who is chairman of the division 3 club Häradsbygdens SS, where Anders Carlsson has been coach.

– It is not resolved with “The Mask” and Brynäs. They have introduced him, but he is still on a two-year contract with Häradsbygden, says Brasar.

What does that mean going forward?

– We’ll figure it out somehow, we all agree that he will coach Brynäs next season. It’s nothing strange, but we’ll still try to solve it and come to an agreement between the associations and Anders. We haven’t done that, the order of turns has been a bit wrong and I can feel a bit fast. Above all from their side. We have not received any question from either him or Brynäs about terminating that agreement. It has gone a little fast.

Brasar says he believes in “a constructive solution” with Carlsson and Brynäs.

– I don’t really know how people thought there, to be honest. But our ambition is to solve it, we don’t really want to argue with either Anders or Brynäs, he says.

– The problem from the beginning was that no one from Brynäs contacted Häradsbygden. They skipped that step. If we had started there and solved it before they had presented “The Mask” it would have been peace and quiet and peace and joy.

“Our coach”

Is there a certain amount you must have to settle this?

– We have discussed a sum in the board. I don’t want to go into that here and now, but it’s clear that we must have some form of compensation, that’s the way it is.

– It would be nice for everyone if it could be resolved as soon as possible. As it is now, “The Mask” is de facto our coach from the first of August, even if we want to resolve it so that it is not so. We’ve tried to sit down with “The Mask” above all, but we haven’t gotten that far.

Sportbladet has contacted Brynäs club director Håkan Svedman, who does not want to answer questions about Anders Carlsson’s agreement with Häradsbygdens SS.

Sportbladet has also contacted Anders Carlsson, who refers further to a board member in Häradsbyden’s SS. The board member believes, in contrast to chairman Richard Brasar, that the issue has already been resolved.
