On May 9, 1945, the Great Patriotic War ended. The day of the announcement of Victory has forever become a great and sacred date for our country and all peoples who, as one, rallied against fascism and together saved the world from the onset of a monstrous tragedy. It is difficult to imagine what its end could have been if millions of brave sons and daughters of our Fatherland had not stood in the way of fascist plans.
We bow to the generation of winners. It is impossible to forget this part of our common history. Knowing is necessary. Remembering is a must.
Our sacred duty to the fallen heroes of the last war and living veterans, as well as to the past and future of our country and the entire planet, is to prevent the world from plunging into a new global war.
Congratulations on the great Victory Day. Together we celebrate the 79th anniversary of the victorious spring of 1945.
We wish everyone health, happiness, vigor, peaceful skies and a clear – cloudless and bright – future.
