The executive has a long history in the fashion sector. Meyer got into the business in 2006, when he started on the marketing team at Adidas.. The manager was climbing in the German operator, where he was more than six years and where he was director of business development for two years.
In 2012, Meyer added another fashion operator to his career, after joining the marketing team at VF Corporation. In addition, the manager has also gone through Quiksilver and The Iconic, where he spent a year and five years, respectively, in different management positions. In his last position at Canadian retailer The Bay, the manager had spent two years.

Until now, Happy Shocks was led by Emil Viklund who joined the company in 2019 as CFO after nine years with the Bonnier News media group. The manager left the company in April to join Odevo, a Swedish real estate company, as financial director.
Happy Socks began its development in Sweden in 2008 by Mikael Söderlindh and Viktor Tell, which began by distributing their colorful socks online. Nine years after its founding, the venture capital group Palamon Capital Parners bought a majority stake in the company for $81 million. According to the latest figures available, Happy Socks annually registers a turnover of more than one hundred million euros.
The company, which has diversified its business by entering categories such as children’s underwear and socks, has grown by distributing its products in department stores and its own points of sale in the main cities of the world. Currently, the company distributes its products in more than 95 countries.
In Spain, Happy Socks landed directly in 2016 with an opening in Barcelona and in 2018 it entered Madrid with the launch of a store on Calle Arena. Until then, the company operated in the national market through El Corte Inglés.
