At the end of a particular year, xavierstuder.com has reached new records with more than two million page views in 2020 and a cumulative number of visitors which greatly exceeds one million, i.e. around 90,000 monthly visitors with peaks at 125 ‘000!
As you can see, this site broke all of its records in 2020. About twenty scores exceeded 10,000 views with a record of over 35,000 views for the test of the Huawei GT 2e connected watch.
5G, digestion de Sunrise et zoom 100x
5G particularly marked the year, as reflected in my statistics here too. An article like “Is 5G really faster than 4G and Wi-Fi” has been viewed more than 22,000 times. In the same vein, a text on the blocking of 5G in Switzerland has familiarized the 21,000 clicks.
The Swiss telecoms landscape was also marked by my rise to power at UPC. And the article “Sunrise disintegration can officially begin” attracted some 19,000 pageviews. Finally, the first photo test of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and its 100x zoom also totaled more than 18,000 impressions.

To celebrate these results, I had to bring out the heavy artillery! It is therefore armed with a Canon EOS R6 and a Huawei P40 Pro + that I immortalized this transition to the new year. And what could be better than switching to an ultra-slow motion mode at 7684 frames per second in 720p, or a factor of 256x…
After having already tested this very original mode of the Huawei P40 Pro + in July, I couldn’t resist putting it back for the New Year … If I must admit that I had always wondered how the party favors were packaged for the 1st of the year in a bomb, this time I provide a detailed answer in the video above!
