Stormy in Bloomfield. After the 5:1 loss to Beitar Jerusalem, dozens of Hapoel Tel Aviv fans broke through one of the gates in the locker room area in an attempt to reach the players. Dozens of police and security personnel arrived at the scene and prevented them from entering the locker rooms. Three fans were arrested.
Even before the game, a mass brawl took place outside the stadium when dozens of fans, apparently of Beitar, attacked a number of Hapoel fans in the vicinity of the stadium. Police forces quickly arrived at the scene and arrested a number of those involved in the brawl. A disaster was prevented, such an event without mercy is something that can end in injury to the soul.”

Apart from the fight, there was no silence inside the stadium either. Security forces and police located dozens of flares that were apparently disposed of ahead of time. The flares were removed in stands 4-5 of the Hapoel Tel Aviv fans, but also in stands 10-11 which house Beitar Jerusalem fans.
In any case, during the game, pyrotechnic devices were activated in the Hapoel Tel Aviv fans’ stand and after the final whistle also on the Jerusalem side. Dozens of Beitar fans entered stand 13 and positioned themselves above their team’s bench. Other fans were denied entry to gate 8, which is populated entirely by red fans.
During the games, an MDA team was rushed to a 70-year-old man who collapsed in the stands. They gave him medical treatment and performed CPR, during which a pulse returned, and he was evacuated to Wolfson Hospital in serious condition.
