WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – Chairman of the Hanura Party Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) and his elite cadres arrived at the RI KPU office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/5/2023).

It is known that the Hanura Party is the second party to register candidates for the KPU. Previously, PKS had registered the candidates first on Monday (8/8/2023).

OSO said that today’s legislative election registration shows the readiness of the Hanura Party to take part in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections, which includes the legislative and presidential elections.
“We submitted a list of 580 candidates and all 84 electoral districts were complete,” said OSO at the KPU RI office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/5/2023).
OSO also said that the reason he came to the KPU at 10.00 WIB was because his party numbered 10 as a political party participant in the 2024 election.
“So like this, we chose the 10th, at 10 o’clock right here, considering our number took number 10, it adjusted in this registration on the 10th at 10 o’clock exactly we were here at the KPU, then we were accepted by the KPU at 10.20,” said OSO .
For information, the General Elections Commission (KPU) has now opened registration for legislative candidates for the DPR and DPD for the 2024-2029 period.
Registration starts from Monday 1 May to 14 May 2023.
Then, registration starts at 08.00-16.00 local time for 1-13 May 2023.
Especially on May 14 2023, the registration time is longer, namely 08.00-23.59 WIB.
