Hanukkah at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art

At the end of the week, starting from the first of December, and towards the Hanukkah holiday, the Herzliya Museum reopens after the forced closure due to the Iron Swords War. The museum offers 2 creative workshops:

Textile healing A workshop where damage and repair go hand in hand, led by Amit Baruch (textile artist, fashion designer and trend forecaster).

The workshop draws inspiration from the Japanese art of boro, we will experience traditional repair and sewing methods alongside intuitive patchwork and assembly.

Through handwork we will learn about the life stories of the clothes that accompany us, we will talk about the meaning inherent in the restoration of an item of clothing and the emotions that arise. Participants are invited to bring items of clothing that require repair. Necessary sewing tools will be distributed as part of the workshop.

Wednesday, December 13, at 8:00 p.m. The meeting is intended for 25 participants only.

The magic of light– A special children’s activity in the museum for a unique experience between lights and shadows, works and exhibitions from which we will get inspiration and experience art workshops and exciting meetings in a holiday atmosphere.

Sunday, December 10, at 5:30 p.m. Activity duration: about two and a half hours
