HanseLife: Messe Bremen invites you to a feel-good program for young and old

Whether you work out while doing sports, evoking feelings of happiness with laughter yoga or relaxing with a massage – in the end, the most diverse paths all lead to the same goal: to do something good for yourself. But no matter what the preferred route there looks like, everyone will get their money’s worth at this year’s HanseLife restart special. From Wednesday to Sunday, September 8th to 12th, numerous exhibitors will present their products and services at MESSE BREMEN. In addition to the wide variety of offers – also from other areas of daily life – visitors can expect a comprehensive safety and hygiene concept inside in three halls and on an enlarged outdoor area.

With the starting shot of HanseLife, the starting shot for the two-day senior citizens’ fair InVita, which takes place as part of the shopping and adventure fair, is also given. On Wednesday and Thursday, September 8th and 9th, Hall 6 will be about an active and self-determined life in old age. The former Vice Chancellor and current chairman of the federal working group of the senior citizens’ organization, Franz Müntefering, is setting a good example. How he succeeds, he explains in his lecture “Getting older in this time”. And Bremen politics is also there: On Thursday, Bremen’s Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte will come to the exhibition hall for a greeting.

Practical digitization

How it is possible to book trips online, stay in virtual contact with the children and grandchildren or convert your own home into a smart home, that is what the “digital angels” of the Germany Association reveal securely online. They advise on the subject of digitization and patiently and practically teach older people how digital applications can make everyday life easier and enrich life. A supporting program is also provided at InVita – whether in the form of adventure dance, laughter yoga or other offers. For the first time, visitors also have the opportunity to try out yoga on the chair, which is particularly suitable for physically and cognitively disabled people to keep moving. Also new on the active stage: Drumbata. With a mixture of movement and rhythm through drumming on large exercise balls, the providers encourage participation. At the end of the first day of the event, “Sister Luise” lets the day pass in a humorous way to make your face smile.

Well-being is also one hall down at HanseLife – in the “Beauty, Styling & More” area. There the exhibitors have straightening irons, cosmetics, care products for skin and hair and much more in their luggage. Interested parties can also find out more about the current “sugaring” trend: hair removal with sugar paste is a painless alternative to waxing. The members of the Bremen guild of hairdressers and beauticians also offer advice. The masters have relocated part of the program to the stage in Hall 6: Best agers who have already been selected in advance will be given a new styling including hairstyle and make-up there on Thursday and will present the results in a before-and-after comparison the InVita stage.

In the name of health

In the “Wellness, Health, Sport & Life” subject area, the line between relaxation and activity is already narrower: while at some stands offers such as neck supports, blankets, beds, wellness systems and massage devices are very popular, at other places exhibitors score points: inside with theirs Sports offer and accessories. These include food supplements, fitness equipment, health courses, outdoor and sportswear and much more. The Power Plate shouldn’t be missing: The vibrating floor plates for highly efficient muscle training can be tested on site and purchased directly if you are interested.

After-work ticket for 6 euros

The HanseLife Restart Special is open on all five days of the fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – except on Friday, when visitors are welcome two hours longer until 8 p.m. The InVita is open on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission costs 10 euros per person, reduced price 8.50 euros. From 3 p.m. onwards, an after-work ticket can be purchased for 6 euros every day. MESSE BREMEN has taken numerous safety and hygiene precautions for a carefree day of shopping. All measures can be viewed at the web address www.messe-bremen.de/hygiene.
