Hans Clock goes on tour with his new magical performance Face the Future. He announced this on Wednesday in the RTL talk show BEAU. The fastest illusionist in the world can be seen in major Dutch theaters from August 3 to January 19, 2025. Ticket sales have started!
Klok recently announced that he would perform this brand new performance for four weeks in the Royal Theater Carré Amsterdam. But now he announced that he would also go on tour. “Wherever I have performed in the world, the Netherlands remains my number one,” Klok said in BEAU. “We have such great theaters. With Face the Future I can soon be seen from Maastricht to Groningen.”
New developments
The magic show Face the Future is a very modern production. Themes such as Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence are the common thread in the performance. Klok views these new technical developments with some suspicion: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality are developing in society at a frighteningly fast pace. Frightening, I think, but at the same time fascinating and challenging. Because – will my profession still exist in the future? ?”
In Face the Future we see how Klok develops a digital alter ego. This digital avatar must help him perform his tricks. But then this character develops a will of his own and gains more and more power. Can Klok manage to turn the tide before it is too late?
