Hanover. The police in Hanover are now looking for a photo of a young man who is said to have tried to rob a 17-year-old in October.
The crime happened on October 15 between 7:50 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. on Richard-Lattorf-Strasse in the Ahlem district of Hanover. Here the perpetrator met the 17-year-old and his companion and asked the youth for money. According to the police, however, he replied that he had no money with him and wanted to be left alone. The unknown perpetrator is said to have pulled out a knife and threatened violence if the 17-year-old did not give out any money.

The two youths then fled to a nearby snack bar while the perpetrator escaped unknown. However, the 17-year-old’s companion managed to take a photo of the person they were looking for. The perpetrator is described as around 20 years old and 1.85 meters tall. At the time of the crime, he had short black hair and a black jacket.
The police are asking witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrator to contact the Hanover-Südstadt police department on 0511 109-3217.
