An operation, an accident, a birth or cancer therapy – people in Hanover’s clinics need blood supplies every day to survive. But the German Red Cross in Springe warns: The shelves in the central warehouses of the blood donation services are empty. A dangerous red line could be crossed by the end of January. The shortage is already having its first consequences in the clinics.
