It’s still there. But completely submerged.
Patrick Twumasi (27) only plays a bigger role in the salary budget at 96. The Ghanaian receives around 70,000 euros basic salary every month. The striker doesn’t need to play – or rather is allowed to – for that. Even under Christoph Dabrowski (43), who is now his third coach with the Reds, he is completely left out.
Dump hat trick for Twumasi!
When the 96-Fieger for Ingolstadt takes off on Saturday, there is no boarding pass for him. Twumasi stays in Hanover and trains on the all-around facility. Like for months.
Under ex-trainers Kenan Kocak (40), who brought Twumasi 15 months ago for 700,000 euros transfer from Deportivo Alaves (Spain), the striker played 24 times (three goals) without making the breakthrough.

Kocak successor Jan Zimmermann (42) could do even less with him. In the 17 Zimbo games (including the trophy), Twumasi sat five times on the bench – and did not play a minute.
So it is now also with Dabro, trainer no. 3. “I am unencumbered as far as Patrick is concerned,” says Christoph Dabrowski. “However, I have to think pragmatically. And I believe that it is not easy to get a player who has had little playing experience over a long period of time and who has been left out in a physical and mental condition within a very short time so that he will then play a decisive role. “
Twumasi is a hopeless case at 96!
“The situation has not changed for Twumasi under Dabro,” admits sports director Marcus Mann (37).
The only way out for club and professional is a winter change. But it doesn’t look like that either at the moment. And that although the Reds “give away” Twumasi and, if necessary, would even buy themselves out with a severance payment from the luxury contract (until 2023!).
You have to admit: “I haven’t had any contact with his advisor for a long time.”
Twumasi manager Uwe Kathmann (627 “LAWnSPORTS”) has his company headquarters in Göttingen, practically on the doorstep.
