Al-Marsad newspaper: The son of the former head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, “Abdul Salam Haniyeh,” revealed new details about his father’s murder.
Abdul Salam said in an interview with Doha that his father was targeted by a guided missile that followed his mobile phone, which was next to his head in his room.
He continued that his father used his phone frequently that day, confirming that he made the last call at 10:15 pm.
Abdel Salam denied the rumors about the presence of a planted bomb, stressing that this is not true, noting that the guards and advisers were nearby, which makes the idea of a eu bomb – similar.
It should be noted that Ismail Haniyeh was killed along with his bodyguard on July 31 in the Iranian capital, Tehran, shortly after the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
