Actor Park Si-yeon, who had an accident due to drunk driving in broad daylight, was sent to the prosecution.
The Seoul Songpa Police Department announced on the 26th that it had sent actor Park Si-yeon to the prosecution on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases for Handling Drunk Driving and Traffic Accidents under the Road Traffic Act.
According to the police, on the 17th at 11:30 am, Park Si-yeon is accused of colliding a passenger car waiting for the left turn signal at Jamsil 3 Intersection in Songpa-gu, Seoul with a foreign car he was driving. At that time, Park Si-yeon’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.097%, which was the level of license cancellation.
Park Si-yeon was in the car alone, and two people, including the driver, were in the damaged vehicle.
Not all are known to be seriously injured.
After the accident was known, Park Si-yeon’s agency Mystic Story said, “Park Si-yeon drank alcohol with an acquaintance at home on the evening of the 16th, and decided that the hangover was resolved the next day. “We have responded to the request, and as a result, we have received a claim corresponding to the cancellation of the license.”
“I sincerely apologize for raising water,” Park Si-yeon said on his Instagram, saying, “I regret and reflect deeply.”
