“Hands off!” And “The Circle” on Netflix: New seasons will start soon

The Netflix offer is particularly extensive. In addition to fictional films and series, the streaming service also offers documentaries, for example. For some time now, reality TV series have also been part of the repertoire. Two successful productions are among others „The Circle“ as “Hands off!”. They were so well received by users that Netflix* extended them by a second season each time. The good news: the sequels will start in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, there is also some bad news: the streaming service has chosen not to upload all episodes at once. Instead, the episodes start gradually. Should this innovation prove to be successful, several series seasons could soon appear weekly.

“The Circle” and “Finger Off!” Continue – but Netflix has bad news

In “The Circle” the participants have to decide whether the social media profiles of the other candidates are fake or realistic. Participants then choose each other from the series until one person remains and wins $ 100,000. After the success of season 1, Netflix has extended the series. Already at 14. April 2021 the show goes on. On this day, however, appear only the first four episodes. Netflix will make another four episodes available on April 21 and 28. The final will go online on May 5th.

Also the dating series “Hands off!” To be continued: To be released in June 2021 four episodes every Wednesday. Netflix has not yet announced the exact dates. In any case, there is one innovation with regard to both series: According to a press release, the streaming service wants to experiment with a weekly publication of the episodes. This is already common practice with series like “Riverdale” or “Snowpiercer”. However, these examples are not Netflix originals. If the test is successful, several self-produced series could appear weekly in the future. Usually complete seasons are made available in a single day.

The change announced by Netflix may not please many users. However, it should be noted that „The Circle“ and “Hands off!” so far are only exceptions.
