Ex-Vac player at THC
In his team, Müller has a player, Csenge Kuczora, who comes from Vac and became a national player with the top Hungarian club. “Of course I exchanged ideas with her. She gave me important tips,” said Müller. The coach promises the 24-year-old: “She will be in the starting line-up for the first time. I want to give her the confidence that she can lead the way in important games.”
Change of coach at Vac
The Hungarians travel to the game in the Wiedigsburghalle in Nordhausen in poor condition: after two defeats, coach Gabor Herbert resigned this week. The new coach is Roland Horvath and is 42 years old.
Müller wants a four-goal lead
“The motivation is certainly greater with the new coach,” says Müller, who still demands a win for his team: “If we do our homework, we’ll definitely have a good chance.” Müller would prefer to win with at least a four-goal lead: “Plus four is a good limit in handball. If I had one wish, it would be a four-goal lead or a little more.”
