As announced in our columns on February 1, Dijon MH had applied for the organization of the Proligue Finals. This Tuesday, March 1, the NHL’s steering committee gave a favorable response to the Côte-d’Orient file. Bruno Martini, president of the NHL, said in a press release: “We are very happy to co-organize these ProLigue Finals in Dijon. The DMH’s candidacy had many advantages, including the attractiveness of the city and the region, the hotel capacities and the quality of the Sports Palace infrastructure. The project leaders have also demonstrated great motivation which, combined with the contribution of the skills of the NHL teams, makes me confident about the success of these Finals. »
“Very proud”
“It is with great pride that I learn today from President Bruno Martini that the DMH application file has been selected for the organization of the 2022 ProLigue Finals”, reacted Thierry Dessserey, President of the DMH. “I would like to thank the NHL Steering Committee for the trust placed in us. For this major national professional handball event, the full support of the city of Dijon will enable the DMH to demonstrate its sense of hospitality and its high-level experience. With all the vital forces of the Côte-d’Or and our Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, we will make these Proligue Finals a total success, both sporting and popular. »
