Handball: The negative series of SV Allensbach continues

Promotion to the 2nd Women’s Bundesliga: HSG Freiburg – SV Allensbach 23:16 (14:4). – The third division handball team of SV Allensbach conceded their third defeat in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga in the third away game. The SVA also lost the second leg at HSG Freiburg by 16:23 (4:14) and showed a poor performance, especially in the first half with only four goals scored.

Unlike in the games at SG Schozach-Bottwartal and TSV Haunstetten, the team from Lake Constance didn’t even come into play in the southern Baden duel. After five minutes it was already 4:0. The hosts increased their lead to ten goals by the break. Above all, Allensbach found no means against the well-adjusted HSG defense in attack. The team of trainer Sandra Reichmann and team boss Oliver Lebherz missed two advantage situations.

The second half was initially balanced. After eight minutes and the score was 18:8, the Yellow-Blues had already scored as many goals as in the entire first half. Up until the 50th minute, the Allensbach women reduced the lead again with Kimberly Gisa and a brace from Sara Goudarzi. And in the last ten minutes, the SVA defense only allowed two more goals. Nevertheless, the mortgage of the first half was far too high to make it exciting in the Gerhard-Graf-Halle.

SV Allensbach is now hoping for a conciliatory conclusion in the two home games on Thursday at 4 p.m. against SG Schozach-Bottwartal and on Saturday at 6 p.m. against TSV Haunstetten.
