Düsseldorf will continue to host the Bundesliga Super Cup for three more years.
The comparison between the German champions and the cup winners of the previous season will also take place in the ISS Dome in 2021, 2022 and 2023, this year on September 4th. For the first time, Düsseldorf hosted the Super Cup in 2018.
The record winner of the competition, which has been held since 1994, is THW Kiel with ten titles in 21 finals. As the only team to date, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen won the Super Cup three times in a row from 2016 to 2018.
