The annual gala organized by the Handball Club de Meursault (HBCM) will oppose, this year, the JDA Bourgogne Dijon to the Entente Sportive Besançon Feminine (ESBF), respectively ranked, at the time of writing these lines, 6e et 8e of the Women’s Division 1 championship.
While the Burgundy team has already beaten the Franc-Comtoises in the two regular season confrontations, the players from Besançon will be keen to beat the Dijonnaises at the end of an international break and before the resumption of the French championship.
Forty volunteers mobilized
For the Meursault Handball Club, between reception and ticketing, placement and fast food, refereeing and holding the score table, no less than forty volunteers will be needed to prepare and supervise this event.
To continue its development, the club will hire a new employee in mid-April and already welcomes a young person in civic service to supervise the sports activity. Furthermore, “this year, the club opened a leisure section”, as Christophe Moingeon, president, explains to us, “and we are probably going to relaunch ‘handfit’, a well-being and work activity around the care of oneself thanks to the practice of handball”.
Handball gala, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hubert-Rougeot sports center in Meursault. Price: €5 for adults, €3 for children under 15.
