Handball Endingen wins the last championship game away against SG Wädenswil/Horgen and is thus ranked 5th in the National League B table. With this gratifying victory against the promotion aspirants from Lake Zurich, the Aargau team once again showed a good performance at the end of the season and said goodbye into the summer break with these two points.

Handball Endingen was able to successfully complete the first attack of the game with Maric, who played again after a long injury break, and then benefited from an unusually large number of mistakes and hasty actions by the host. As a result, Zurich had to let Handball Endingen go and were never able to take the lead in the first half – it was 14:9 for the Aargau team after 30 minutes. But Endingen started the second half worse.

In the 39th minute, Zurich took the lead for the first time, but they couldn’t hold the lead for long. Handball Endingen turned things around again and gained a 4-goal lead.

When the hosts from Lake Zurich came back to two goals in the meantime, Handball Endingen was able to calm down the game again and again and bring the game safely to a halt at 24:27. With this victory, Zoltan Majeri’s team was able to end the season with a conciliatory result in 5th place. (az)
