Handball – demonstration of force by the LK Zug against record champions Brühl

At the start of the SPL1 final round, Zug defeated Brühl 35:30. This means that the tension for second place (home right playoff semi-final) is back.

With ten goals, she contributed significantly to the victorious start of the final round against Brühl. Stutz continues: “Now we will travel to Nottwil with great confidence.”

Battle for second place

Thanks to the 35:30 victory over the record champions from Eastern Switzerland and the surprising 31:35 defeat of the Spono Eagles at Kreuzlingen, the people of Zug are again sensing contact towards second place in the table. This would secure the LKZ home right in the playoff semi-finals (best of 3). Even if you don’t know at the moment whether an audience will be allowed to attend the games again in April, it could prove to be an advantage if you can start the semi-finals at home.

In the next game, the team from Zug will face the Spono Eagles. The game will be played on Saturday (18:00 Kirchmatte Nottwil). Zug’s mortgage on the handball players from Lake Sempach is “only” three points. The tension is back and the starting position is open again after the first game day. Even Brühl has to fight for first place again.
