Berlin – Bob Hanning is still hoping for handball games in front of spectators this Bundesliga season. In an interview with “Mannheimer Morgen”, the managing director of Füchse Berlin said he understood politics in many things.
“But at some point we have to create a new normal. And handball games with spectators belong to this new normal,” added the 53-year-old.
“I would like to have the opportunity to prove the functionality of our hygiene concepts in practice. Not in a sold-out hall, of course, but starting with a small number of spectators. This is exactly what these concepts were created for.”
However, this should not sound like a demand. “I am clearly in favor of keeping my feet still until Easter. But then, given the number of infections, it is also about creating the new normal.”
