After an even start, the Berliners took control of the game. With six goals in a row, the guests moved from 12:11 (20th minute) to 18:11 (29th). The Foxes completed their combinations with concentration. Above all, the goalkeeper performance was missing from Hamburg.

Goalkeeper Robin Haug becomes Hamburg’s bulwark

Things changed completely after the break. Robin Haug, who came on for Mohamed El-Tayar, became a bulwark between the posts and in the 42nd minute the hosts had equalized again at 23:23. Jacob Lassen scored 29:27 four minutes before the end – the hall was upside down.

However, there was no further goal from the hosts until the final whistle. Tobias Reichmann with a seven-meter penalty and Mijajlo Marsenic ultimately ensured a very fortunate draw for the Berliners.
