Hand in hand with Telkom, Agate releases Atma Code, Nusantara’s Unique Mystical Game

Jakarta, Cellular.ID – Telkom’s Agate partnered with Melon and Oolean released a Role Playing Game (RPG) game titled Code Atma.

Arief Widhiyasa, CEO of Agate, said, with the support of Telkom, Melon and Oolean, the Code Atma game could be developed and enjoyed by players on Android.

Arief further explained that Code Atma spoiled the Seekers (as the players call it), with stunning narrative experiences.

According to Arief, this game combines Indonesian mystical characters with contemporary technology, Code Atma challenges the Seekers to enter and explore the dark universe shrouded in mystery.

Seeker will be armed with a mysterious application that can be used to fight with mystical creatures – which in the game are called Atma. The Atma are derived from Indonesian cultural heritage which must be very familiar.

“Characters like Kuntilanak, Jelangkung, and Genderuwo, as well as many others will also decorate the Seeker’s playing experience. In Code Atma, players can go offline and quit the game without having to fear losing in the match against Atma, “Arief said.

The majority of games using the Indonesian language have been developed since April 2019, Code Atma will provide the experience of playing RPGs quite entertaining to the Seeker through narration that can be enjoyed in every battle.

While Joddy Hernady, EVP Digital and Next Business of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia said, Indonesia should be able to host games in Indonesia. And this Oolean initiative, according to Joddy, wants to show that Indonesian game developers are now able to compete with game developers in other countries.

“Code Atma, can encourage other local game developers to build games that can be of interest to Indonesian gamers, even in the future also for the global market,” said Joddy.
