Hana Shiha supported the Hollywood Actors Guild strike in an attempt to put pressure on major production companies to equalize wages and workers in the union, as well as to preserve their rights from the spread of artificial intelligence in the entertainment industry around the world.

The video indicated that he has been working as a representative in the union for twenty years, to be dismissed in a sudden way, like many others during the last period, and the use of artificial intelligence in most of their jobs, which represents a real danger to the entire industry in a way. general.

And a number of crews for a number of cinematic works during the past few weeks, which are currently being filmed, announced that they would stop filming due to the fact that a large number of them joined the Hollywood Actors Guild “Sag-Aftra” strike.

Among these works is the crew of the upcoming biopic “Oppenheimer”, where the team was promoting the screening of the film in London to stop the activities and join the needful pause, in addition to stopping filming the third part of the superhero movie “Deadpool”, which had begun since the days of filming its external scenes in the presence of its stars. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, amid news that the film could be postponed due to the delay in the filming schedule, which was scheduled to be shown in May next year, provided that the new date for the film will be announced by the producing company during the coming period.

And Christopher Nolan, the director of the movie “Oppenheimer”, revealed in press statements that most of his movie “Oppenheimer” team had joined the union strike, saying, “They are on their way to participate in a strike in the struggle for fair wages for the members of the union.”

The strike of the Hollywood Actors Syndicate is not new, but extends from last May, and nearly 160,000 people participate in it, including writers, broadcasters, journalists and radio broadcasters, and a large number of actors joined them recently in an attempt by everyone to improve wages and equality among workers in the union, in addition to their attempt to repel some companies. Which is trying to use artificial intelligence in exchange for laying off many workers during the coming period, which angered thousands, demanding that they be empowered with their rights.

It is noteworthy that the last participation of the artist, Hana Shiha, in the play “Memo” starring the comedy star Ahmed Helmy, which was re-presented again in early June by Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, after the great public success of the play, which was shown for the first time in Riyadh early this year.
