[인사이드비나=오태근 기자] Hana Bank (Chairman Lee Seung-yeol) announced on the 21st that it would implement the ‘Hana Win-Win Housing Support Program’ worth KRW 500 billion for emergency financial support for households in areas affected by charter fraud, such as Michuhol-gu, Incheon, Dongtan, and Guri, Hwaseong.
This support is intended to fulfill the bank’s social responsibility through win-win finance with members of society by helping victims who are suffering from unexpected damage from charter scams to stabilize their housing and psychological stability.
Accordingly, Hana Bank has decided to provide loan support for housing stability, full interest exemption for the first year, and financial counseling by preparing a Hana Mutual Housing Support Program in line with the government’s support policy for households that have been victims of charter fraud.
Loans of up to KRW 200 million per household will be provided to households that have issued a confirmation of jeonse damage through the Jeonse Damage Support Center. For households that have completed the auction or have lost their place of residence, 200 billion won in jeonse loans and 150 billion won in purchase funds are provided, and 150 billion won in auction funds are provided to households that are in the process of an auction or are expected to suffer damage.
Interest for the first year after the loan is executed is fully exempted. In addition, all incidental expenses incurred during the loan process are fully supported. Guarantee fees including return insurance guarantee fees, stamp duty, bond discount fees, and early redemption cancellation fees are also exempted.
In addition to financial support, Hana Bank provides various non-financial support. For prompt damage relief, a loan counseling support team will be formed in the head office, and professional reviewers and housing product managers will be assigned to provide counseling support for customers.
