On this afternoon, the day before the 22nd general election and the last day of the official election campaign, the People Power Party announced, ‘Chairman Han’s additional night schedule scheduled after today’s final campaign was unavoidably canceled due to health reasons.’
Originally, after the final campaign, Chairman Han was scheduled to travel around Hyehwa Station, Eulji-ro 1-ga Station, and Hongik University to greet people on the streets, and then announce the end of the official general election campaign at around 11:50 p.m. However, it was reported that the schedule was hastily canceled due to showing signs of exhaustion.
After the official election campaign began, Chairman Han went on a forced march, traveling a total of 4,135.6 km without resting for a day for 13 days. During this period, 136 cities, counties, and districts were visited, and the number of support campaigns reached 143 times.
On this day, a total of 15 locations were visited, starting with a support campaign at Changdong Station in Dobong-gu, Seoul at 10 a.m. and ending with an all-out campaign at Cheonggye Plaza held at 8 p.m.
