Hammarby’s coach is up for relocation

This summer, Hammarby chose to fire Stefan Billborn and then they picked Milos Milojevic as the new head coach for the men’s team. The Serb came from a job as an assistant coach at Röda Stjärnan.

But despite the fact that Milojevic signed a contract over 3.5 years, he is now already rumored to be relevant for another job. The Norwegian local newspaper Nidaros writes that Rosenborg has contacted the coach. Information that the club’s chairman Ivar Koteng does not want to comment on.

How does Milojevic view the data? He does not want to comment on the subject.

“No comment. I am HIF’s coach and with a focus on the last three rounds”, he writes in a text message to Fotbollskanalen.

Hammarby’s sports director Jesper Jansson, in turn, does not want to confirm or deny the information.

– Milos has an agreement with us. So that, Rosenborg’s activities, is not something I want to comment on, Jansson says to Fotbollskanalen.

Has Rosenborg been in contact with you?

– It’s like I said, I do not comment on what Rosenborg does. Milos is Hammarby’s coach.

Rosenborg is looking for a new coach for next season when Åge Hareide retires and at the top of the wish list is Bodö / Glimt’s successor Kjetil Knutsen, but he is also placed in other clubs. For example, the Premier League club Norwich.

Hammarby is currently fifth in the Allsvenskan.
