Hammarby has invested heavily in recruiting players from Africa and successfully sold them on. Kossounou Odilon, Joseph Aidoo, Aziz Outtara Mohammed and Akinkunmi Amoo are just a few examples that brought in big money to the club after a period in Hammarby.
Now the club continues on the beaten path.
SportExpressen can reveal that Hammarby has finished with Ibrahima Breze Fofana, 19, who belongs to Club NXT in Belgium. Fofana is a central midfielder who previously, among other things, represented Diamants from Guinea. He also has five Under-17 caps for Guinea.
SportExpressen learns that Hammarby’s plan is for Fofana to belong to HTFF during the autumn and after the new year to step up to the A team. If nothing unforeseen happens within the next few weeks, Fofana is expected to be presented.
