Hamilton Champion, Thai Racer Seize the Podium

Tuscany

Lewis Hamilton came out as the champion Formula 1 at the Tuscan GP. This drama-filled race also presents a podium for Thai racers, Alexander Albon.

Racing at the Mugello Circuit, Sunday (13/9/2020) evening WIB, presented drama at the start of the race. Max Verstappen quit the race after his car didn’t have the strength to run. Pierre Gasly became a victim after bumping into the Verstappen car.

Not long ago there was another crash incident on the sixth lap. There were four drivers involved in the collision, namely Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicolas Latifi, Kevin Magnussen, Carlos and Sainz.

This accident presented a red flag. All racers then returned to the pits to wait for the race to start again.

The new race starts with 50 rounds remaining. Lewis Hamilton led the race, followed by Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc. Lance Stroll managed to nudge into third on the 18th lap.

Bottas, who was in second position, tried to get into the pits first to change tires on lap 31. After one lap, Hamilton, who had previously complained over the radio about tires, caught up with him.

A fierce battle occurred in the third and fourth positions between Daniel Ricciardo, Stroll and Alexander Albon. Damn for Stroll. When you have taken the third position you must leave the race.

The Canadian racer took a turn at the ninth corner of the 44th lap. The red flag had to be issued again and the riders returned to the pits.

Race started again from lap 47 by restarting again with the remaining 12 riders. There was no significant change in position after the restart, Hamilton was still in the lead followed by Bottas, Ricciardo, Albon and Perez.

Fierce battle in the 50th son. Albon took third after overtaking Ricciardo.

Until the race left five more laps, no representative from Ferrari was able to enter the top five. Leclerc is in ninth position and Sebastian Vettel in 10th place of the remaining 12 riders.

There is no change in position until the race is complete. Hamilton came out as champion and Bottas sat in second place. Albon finished third and marked the first time the Thai racer won the podium in F1.

Albon first took part in F1 in 2019 with Red Bull. His best race result at that time finished fourth in Japan last year.
