On Sunday afternoon, the police were called to Billstedt: Two men had gotten into an argument, one of them injured the other. Because the suspect was already known to the police, the special forces were called in to assist.
At around 1:45 p.m., emergency services were alerted to Gundermannstrasse: According to the Hamburg police’s situation service, two men had probably been drinking alcohol together before they got into a fight and one of them ended up injuring the other.
SEK arrests man – and takes him to hospital
“The suspect has often reacted very aggressively to the police in the past and is apparently interested in martial arts,” said a spokesman. The emergency services then surrounded the house and closed off surrounding streets and paths. At the same time, the special forces were alerted and entered the house with a police dog. The operation attracted many onlookers; according to reports from the scene, more than three dozen people watched the events.

The SEK finally arrested the man, who apparently also sustained injuries. He was taken to hospital under guard by the emergency services. According to the police, the other man did not suffer serious injuries and refused to be taken to hospital. (aba)
