There was a lot of excitement on Monday morning in Eimsbüttel: A dispute on Eimsbüttel’s market square triggered a major police operation. The fire brigade also came.
At around 8 a.m., the police arrived with a large contingent. Callers had reported a heated argument between two people – one of whom was already injured. In addition to several patrol cars, three ambulances, a fire engine and an emergency doctor drove to the scene.

Kieler Straße was closed as a precautionary measure – in addition to the traffic light failure at Siemersplatz (Lokstedt), this was another reason for traffic jams in the morning rush hour. However, Kieler Straße was quickly reopened.

After police officers stormed the apartment in an apartment building with riot shields, the emergency services found an injured man. However, as a police spokesperson confirmed, the injuries were older. The reported argument was merely a verbal dispute. Nevertheless, the man was taken to hospital as a precaution. No information could be given about the background to the argument.
