An eleven-year-old girl was hit by a car in Rahlstedt on Wednesday morning: the child was injured and taken to a hospital. The police are looking for witnesses – because the driver fled after the accident.
At 7:30 a.m., the girl crossed the street at Nordlandweg when the traffic light was green. At the same time, a woman turned left in her dark small car, headed towards Spitsbergenweg. There was a collision. “The child was injured in the knee,” said a police spokeswoman.

The driver is said to have just driven away after the accident. The eleven-year-old was taken to the hospital and said her life was not in danger. The police spokeswoman: “Your injuries were treated on an outpatient basis.”
