– Our fighters are currently fighting fierce battles with machine guns and armor-piercing weapons against invading occupation forces in the northwest of the Gaza Strip, says the Qassam Brigade in a statement.
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) also reports on Sunday afternoon about battles against Hamas in the north of the Gaza Strip. Over the weekend, the IDF sent several ground forces into the besieged enclave and announced a “new phase” of the war.
