Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that Hamas will no longer rule Gaza, after the Israeli army claimed to have killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
“The person who committed the most terrible massacre in our nation’s history since the Holocaust was eliminated today,” Netanyahu said in a video statement. “Hamas will no longer govern Gaza.”
In a message addressed to those holding Israeli hostages in Gaza, Netanyahu said that “whoever lays down their weapons and returns them, we will allow them to leave and live, but whoever harms them, (we tell them) their blood will fall on them.” their own heads.
