Hamas rejects the latest cease-fire proposal in Gaza, Here’s why

Office Hamas that the group accepted proposals from Egyptian and Qatari mediators for a short-term ceasefire in Gaza. However, Hamas rejected it because it did not include a permanent ceasefire.

The supreme leader of Hamas, Taher al-Nunu, had warned on Thursday that the group would reject any proposal for a temporary cessation of fighting. But Nunu said Hamas had not received any official proposals at that time.
