Hamas Massacre in Israeli Kibbutz Leaves Over 100 Dead

According to the Israeli military, more than 100 people were killed in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

On Tuesday, October 10, journalists were allowed into Kibbutz Kfar Aza to see the full scale of the atrocities committed by Hamas militants who broke through a fence on the edge of the city, shooting indiscriminately at residents, burning houses and killing entire families.

About it reports edition of ABC News.

“Mass Murder Scene”

The stench of death was so overwhelming that an Israeli soldier who removed the body of a murdered civilian from the window of a bullet-ridden house stuffed earplugs into his nose. Among the rows of trees laden with fruit and the neat lawns of Kibbutz Kfar Aza in southern Israel, a basketball court was turned into a temporary morgue where gurneys containing the dead were set up.

It was the scene of a massacre that US President Joe Biden said was the result of the “bloodlust” of Hamas terrorists who invaded a farming community near the Gaza border.

“You see there is carnage going on here. This is very important to see,” Lt. Col. Richard Hecht, an Israel Defense Forces spokesman, told ABC News during a harrowing tour of the devastated community. “They [боевики ХАМАСа] came in and killed civilians.”

“The bodies of entire families were found”

A gaping hole in the fence through which the terrorists, many on motorcycles and trucks, had broken through remained open as Israeli soldiers stood nearby to guard it.

Almost every house in the community of about 700 people, founded in 1951 by Jewish immigrants and refugees, was either burned down or riddled with balloon holes.

In some houses, soldiers found the bodies of entire families, Israeli Major General Itay Veruv told ABC News.

You see babies, mothers, parents in bedrooms, in protection rooms and how terrorists kill them,” Weruw said. This is not a war, this is not a battlefield. This is a massacre.”

“They cut off the heads of babies”

Describing the gruesome discoveries the soldiers made in the houses, Weruw said: “They burned the houses, then shot the babies, cut off their heads.”

The IDF was concerned that some of the houses were rigged with explosives, so the army ordered soldiers to blow up some of them before entering them.

Some of the bodies of the victims seen by ABC News were also Thai workers believed to have worked on the kibbutz.

In one of the houses, rescuers found 10-month-old twins alive and unharmed after their parents hid them and barricaded the door. The parents died during a surprise attack, but their children were hidden well so that the terrorists would not notice them. They were found by rescuers more than 10 hours after the bloody attack.

The soldiers went from house to house, carrying away the bodies of the dead residents of the community. Weruw told ABC News that some of the victims were mutilated and some were beheaded.

More than 100 people killed

The sound of black body bags being zipped up, carried out and placed on trucks could be heard every now and then in the destroyed houses. In some cases, Israeli soldiers prayed over the bodies before removing them.

Weruw said more than 100 men, women and children were killed in the community, but there is no exact count yet.

The floors of many modest houses were littered with shell casings. In one of the houses, journalists saw a child’s bed covered in blood. In other houses, food on the tables remained untouchable.

Outside the houses, the bloated and blackened bodies of many dead terrorists, killed in intense firefights with Israeli soldiers, lay on the ground. Many of the dead terrorists lay next to the motorcycles on which they had stormed into the community. The streets are littered with the remains of motorized paragliders that were used to raid the community.

One of the crashed Hamas motorcycles seen by ABC News had a license plate that read in Arabic: “Your time is up.”

Dozens of other border towns and kibbutzim along the border found similar horrific scenes, according to IDF officials.
