The Secretary of the Palestinian Popular Committees in the Sidon region, Dr. Abdel Abu Salah, intervened, and he was handing him a memorandum with the demands of the camp residents. He explained categorically, “The committees conducted a field tour of the schools and there were no armed men in them,” calling on the UNRWA administration to expedite conducting a security survey on four areas. According to Al-Nashra information, Lazzarini heard a lot of words of blame and blame for what is happening in Gaza, where the Secretary of the “Popular Committees for the Coalition and Islamic Forces in the Sidon Region,” Khaled Zuaiter, expressed the dissatisfaction of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon with the performance of all international organizations, including UNRWA. He said, “It left us vulnerable and prey to the Israeli killing machine in front of the whole world and no one is moving,” criticizing “UNRWA for reducing its services to refugees and for its delay in renovating schools in Ain al-Hilweh.” The Palestinian people, in exchange for the military support that these countries provide to Israel and send “deadly gifts” to the Palestinian people by providing them with missiles and weapons.
