A run-over and shooting attack in Tel Aviv, on Tuesday, resulted in 10 injuries, including 3 serious and moderate cases.

The Israeli police killed the perpetrator of the run-over attack in northern Tel Aviv, noting that he was a Palestinian youth from Hebron in the West Bank. Police said the run-over was “deliberate”.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that the run-over operation in Tel Aviv was an initial response to the Jenin operation, which has so far killed 10 Palestinians.

On Tuesday, a comprehensive strike took place in the cities of the West Bank to protest against the ongoing Israeli attack on the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, in which 10 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 others were injured, 20 of whom are in serious condition.

And the movement was disrupted in various Palestinian cities, and public servants remained in their homes in response to the call to strike made by the Fatah movement led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Two United Nations aid agencies on Tuesday also expressed concern about the scale of the Israeli military operation in the city of Jenin, referring to restrictions on access for medical services.

A spokeswoman for the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs said in a press statement: “We are concerned about the volume of air and ground operations taking place in Jenin in the occupied West Bank and air strikes on a densely populated refugee camp.” It added that among the dead were 3 children, without giving details.

In addition, a spokesman for the World Health Organization stated that medical teams were prevented from entering the camp to treat the wounded.

“First responders were denied entry to the (Jenin) refugee camp, including access to people who were seriously injured,” he said, referring to the restrictions imposed by Israeli forces.
